My mother told me that I started drawing before I could speak. Building an imaginary life. Creating the the life of others. This is my language. Narrating the human form, figurative but transfigured, gestural borrowed from the old Dutch painters to the icons of the 20th Century. Exploring diverse mediums, their textures expressing the mood or the feel of the story. I illustrate like a painter, I paint like an illustrator. My work is geared toward editorial, mostly addressing adult readers.

Techniques varies from acrylic, gouache, ink, watercolor, collages and digital images.
